Apprenticeship as a metal technician

(Full-time)

Your responsibilities

• Learning the basics of metalworking and mechanical engineering for practical application in maintenance, fault-finding and new fabrications
• Machining and processing metals into components for repair and maintenance work on production plant
• Machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals using hand tools and computer-controlled machines (e.g. CNC machines)
• Learning about and applying various metalworking techniques, such as forging, welding, soldering, bending, bonding and machining
