Description:
About Us
At Managing Composites, we specialise in advanced engineering and manufacturing of composite materials for projects that few companies are willing to take on: high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. We were born as a remote-first company with a global mindset, working with clients and suppliers from all over the world. We are a small, close-knit team with high standards and a strong focus on quality, where everyone has a name, a story and a voice.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive person with a strong willingness to learn to join our Administration team.
This is an opportunity to gain first-hand experience of how the administration function operates within an international industrial company. You will be exposed to different administrative areas and become involved in the day-to-day running of the business from your very first week.
We are not looking for someone who already knows everything. We are looking for someone with good judgement, curiosity and attention to detail, someone we will enjoy teaching and helping to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administrative tasks and the department’s document management activities.
- Receive, register and file documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, contracts and shipping documentation.
- Support invoice and supplier management activities, including registration in our ERP system (Business Central), purchase order tracking and follow-up.
- Update internal databases and records (order trackers, invoicing calendars and monitoring spreadsheets).
- Provide administrative support to different departments (Projects, Finance, HR and Purchasing).
- Collaborate in the improvement and updating of our internal process guides, bringing the fresh perspective of someone using them for the first time.
Requirements
- Studies in Business Administration, Finance, International Business or a related field.
- Ability to formalise an internship agreement with a university or vocational training institution.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail (in administration, details matter).
- Ability to communicate confidently in English in everyday work situations, including meetings, calls and events with clients, suppliers and colleagues from different countries.
- Positive attitude, autonomy and eagerness to learn.
What We Offer
- Hands-on learning and practical experience from day one, with a structured onboarding plan, a dedicated mentor and a buddy who will support you throughout your journey.
- The opportunity to become part of a dynamic, collaborative and people-focused team, where questions are encouraged and knowledge is openly shared.
- Meaningful responsibilities and real international projects, not just administrative support tasks.
- A 20-hour work week, with flexible hours that fit around your studies.
- A remote-first working model, with occasional in-person team gatherings.
- Real career development opportunities. Several members of our current team started their careers with us as interns.
