Embedded Software Developer - Control Systems

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a Vehicle Motion Control team within the automotive industry, working on Longitudinal Vehicle Control systems. You will develop control algorithms for energy-efficient longitudinal control, contributing to Core System Platform apps delivered to a next-generation Core System VCU. The role combines model-based development (Simulink) with embedded C/C++ software development in a cross-functional, international environment.
- Develop and update model-based and C++ functionality in core system ECUs
- Create CI test cases related to implemented functionality
- Debug, test, and trace during integration
- Synchronize and cooperate with partner teams
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience (C++, Python) and Control Engineering
- Experience with automated software testing / CI/CD
- Experience developing applications using application frameworks, handling life cycle and execution contexts
- Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture
- Experience with test tools such as Wireshark and CANalyzer/CANoe
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Physics (Bachelor, Master, or PhD)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to have
- Experience with Ethernet communication
- Basic knowledge of Diagnostics, SWDL, Network Communications
