- Building and operating hybrid connectivity between AWS and on-premises data centres using Direct Connect and Site-to-Site VPN.
- Applying Zero Trust principles to workload and user access, including IAM, Service Control Policies and network segmentation.
- Implementing governance guardrails and best practices using solutions such as Control Tower, Landing Zone Accelerator and organisation-level policies.
- Developing platform observability, including dashboards for monitoring and controlling the environment.
- Leading P1/P2 incident response, including coordinating the response, conducting root cause analysis and implementing improvements to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with strong and current AWS expertise at enterprise scale.
- Practical experience designing and operating an AWS Landing Zone, ideally using Control Tower, Landing Zone Accelerator or an equivalent multi-account foundation.
