You will be part of Strategic Business Development team, a small and diverse team responsible for driving SAS Cargo’s overall strategic direction and driving selected strategic development areas forward to enable business growth and efficiency. You will work closely with SAS Cargo’s operations department and ensure they have the right processes and tools in place to ensure ability to serve our customers in best possible manner, being same time compliant towards requirements rising from authorities.
What you’ll do
Operations related development
Together with our operations department, recognize improvement opportunities and convert prioritized areas into development projects
Follow changes rising from industry standards (e.g. IATA) and customs programs (e.g. ICS2 and ACAS) and drive required change into practice
Drive RPA/AI initiatives to increase efficiency of operations
Manage relationship with external operations support provider
Drive data driven culture within operations and support BI development by consolidating reporting demand
Overall development
In addition to operations, you might be assigned to drive development initiatives under other SAS Cargo departments
What you bring
Required: strong knowledge of cargo industry and especially in air cargo operations. In order to be successful in this role, you need to understand the air cargo end-to-end process, system landscape (especially messaging) and the customs programs (ICS2/ACAS)
Preferred: Strong project management skills as majority of the development is done through projects. You have strong skills in recognizing the issue at hand and its implication throughout the end-to-end process and converting the development need into a successfully executed project.

Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 3-month probation period
This position is based at SAS Cargo’s new HQ facility at Copenhagen airport, and you will be expected to work onsite. Some remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit. Please note that we ask you to inform us if you currently have a valid EU-work permit.
