We are recruiting for a German + English- speaking End User Support Specialist to join our team inGdansk, providing exceptional technical support and ensuring a seamless workplace experience for our customers' employees.
In this role, you will provide functional and technical support within the Workplace Services area, ensuring a high-quality IT experience for our customers' employees. As the first point of contact, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user access issues, manage incidents and service requests, and deliver first and second-line support through phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
The role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Active Directory, Windows operating systems, IT infrastructure, and ITIL-based support processes, along with excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What you will bring:
- University degree in IT or equivalent years of experience in the IT field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, or Infrastructure Support Specialist.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) - mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems, including Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
- General knowledge of IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN networking, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
- Good knowledge of IT hardware, including PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Experience with ticketing and incident management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of ITIL principles, Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.
- Basic knowledge of SAP user account administration and print management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a user-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple incidents simultaneously, and meet SLA targets.
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of remote support tools and remote desktop technologies.
- Exposure to software deployment, testing, workstation setup, and migration activities.
- ITIL Foundation certification would be an advantage.
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Additional desirable skills:
- Experience with Azure Active Directory.
- Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge.
- Knowledge of endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune or SCCM.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience supporting hybrid workplace environments and remote users.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure fundamentals.
