Project

Our client is launching a strategic technology transformation program aimed at assessing, designing, and planning the migration of its Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem to the latest Microsoft platforms, with a particular focus on the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including components such as Fabric Data Platform, Fabric Intelligence (IQ), and Fabric Apps.

The project will have a strong focus on assessment activities, target architecture definition, identification of functional and technical impacts, migration planning, and implementation roadmap development.

We are looking for professionals with proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics who can act as business and technology experts throughout this modernization journey.

Role

• Analyze the current Microsoft Dynamics solution architecture.
• Assess existing customizations, integrations, workflows, and dependencies.
• Identify technical and functional risks associated with the migration.
• Map business processes currently supported by the platform.
• Participate in defining the transition architecture towards Microsoft Fabric.
• Identify modernization opportunities leveraging Fabric's Data Analytics, AI, and Data Engineering capabilities.
• Define integration models between Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop migration and modernization roadmaps.
• Define data, process, and integration transition strategies.
• Support the creation of business cases and effort estimations.
• Produce technical and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with both business and technology teams.
• Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and validation.
• Present technical recommendations to management and architecture teams.

Requirements

• Solid experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Dynamics CRM
• Dynamics Customer Engagement
• Dynamics Finance & Operations
• Dynamics Business Central
• Dynamics AX
• Proven experience in:
• Implementing or enhancing Dynamics solutions.
• Platform configuration and customization.
• Integrating Dynamics with enterprise systems.
• Business process modeling.
• Functional and technical analysis.
• Azure Services.
• Power Platform.
• Data architecture and integration design.
• Understanding technology migration and modernization processes.
• Preferred Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives.
