Processes Techinician

MISSION

Ensure correct performance of the assembly lines by installing assembly lines or equipment, and carrying out continuous improvements.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Determine installation procedures by reading schematics, manuals, or other specifications.
Set up and test the machinery, assembly lines or other industrial equipment to ensure they work properly.
Install and assemble mechanical parts, industrial electric or electronic devices, and pneumatic or hydraulic equipment, according to drawings or technical specifications.
Play an active role in building or modifying assembly lines, and support the Process Engineer in selecting and installing equipment, as well as related facility projects.
Install, modify and/or repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems.
Share experiences about assembly or equipment with Process Designer and Process Programmer in new project design phases.
Participate in any processes to create a machine, from concept to manufacturing.
Monitor process operations based on process standards.
Provide ideas and corrective actions for ongoing manufacturing issues.
Operate drilling, lathe, press, grinders or other machines to modify parts of the assembly lines/machinery.
Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background: High school diploma

Languages: Fluent in local language & Basic English (reading)

Experience: Not required

Travel: Willing to travel

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training: Profiles should have general knowledge in all areas and advanced in one:

(1) Mechatronics (electrics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, robots, artificial vision)

(2) Machine safety

Language: Basic English (spoken)
