Berlin, Germany Senior Software Engineer - Digital Marketing/Customer Experience

Berlin/Hybrid

At Sonova, we build digital products that help millions of people connect with hearing care providers worldwide. We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our Technology organization and help shape customer-facing marketing digital experiences and customer care platforms that support our global growth.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications, services, and integrations
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions running on Google Cloud Platform
• Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and continuously improve system reliability and performance
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Design automation solutions supporting customer care and operational processes

Your Profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Solid experience with cloud (GCP/AWS) + Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Passionate about building high-quality digital products
• Business-minded and interested in understanding how technology creates value
