Responsibilities

• Firmware Testing
  • Test firmware components and validate product features across embedded devices.
• Feature Validation
  • Verify network protocols, controller runtime functions, and platform or OS services.
• Test Automation
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve automated testing workflows.
• Defect Analysis
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes using debugging techniques, and prioritize critical issues.
• Test Frameworks
  • Develop and maintain test frameworks and test environments.
• Test Coverage
  • Participate in requirements reviews and define test coverage for new features.
• Test Documentation
• Create test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
• Traceability
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, tests, and defects while identifying coverage gaps.
• Test Strategy
  • Define testing strategies for new features and system components.
• Agile Collaboration
  • Participate in Agile/SAFe activities, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Support automation and CI/CD adoption and improve testing and development processes.
• Mentoring
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and support knowledge sharing within global teams. Requirements

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Electronics, or a related IT field.
• Python Automation
  • 5+ years of practical test automation experience in Python and software lifecycle development methodologies.
• Embedded Systems
  • Knowledge of network protocols, embedded systems architecture, or real-time operating systems such as QNX or VxWorks.
• Test Frameworks
  • Experience developing test frameworks or testing tools.
• Firmware Testing
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
• Version Control
  • Practical experience with GitHub or GitLab and related version control practices.
• CI/CD
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins.
• Testing Methods
  • Understanding of test design and validation techniques.
• English
  • Fluent English at B2 level or higher.
• Problem-Solving Mindset
  • Proactive “figure it out and help others” approach to solving technical challenges.
• Agile Experience
  • Experience working with Agile/SAFe development methodologies and distributed teams.
• Technical Collaboration
