As part of Household Care Technical Service within Planetary Health, you will contribute to developing biosolutions that help industries transition to build greener products without compromising on high product standards. Our team supports customers across Europe, demonstrating and validating the value of enzyme technologies in household care applications, such as laundry and automatic dishwashing. For this role we are looking for a team member who thrives in the lab and enjoys turning scientific findings into compelling stories and demo materials showcasing the power of our enzyme solutions during customer visits.
The role & your impact
As a Scientist in Household Care Technical Service , you will play a key role in bringing new enzyme innovations to life for our customers. You will design and execute laboratory studies that generate the technical insights needed for customer recommendations, product support, and new product launches.
Your key responsibilities in this role
- Design, plan, and conduct laboratory studies within household care applications.
- Generate technical data packages that support existing and new enzyme solutions across Europe.
- Translate scientific results into compelling demonstrations and technical stories for customers.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory technicians, application researchers, technical specialists, and commercial colleagues.
- Support customer workshops, demonstration sessions, and co-creation activities.
- Present laboratory findings and technology benefits during customer visits.
- Contribute to the successful launch and adoption of new biosolutions in the market.
What you'll need to be successful in this role
- Master's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Prioritize lab work and enjoy planning and running laboratory trials
- Keep an innovative mindset, with a willingness to always test new ideas, while striving for high data quality
- Ability to transform scientific insights into practical recommendations and customer-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical insights to a broad audience
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A structured and dependable approach to planning and executing work.
Additional skills & interests we value
- Experience within household care, detergents, enzymes, surfactants, or related application areas.
- Customer-facing experience, including technical presentations, demonstrations, or workshops.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
- Curiosity for innovation and a passion for exploring new ideas.
- Interest in sustainability and the role of biosolutions in driving positive environmental impact.
