About the job
Orifarm is establishing a new partnering function within Pharma Trade, dedicated to building strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. This is an opportunity to help shape a new business area, influence strategy, and create innovative partnership models that generate value for partners, healthcare systems, and patients across Europe.
We believe there is significant untapped potential in helping pharmaceutical manufacturers expand market reach, optimize product life cycles, strengthen supply security, and unlock additional value from existing portfolios. By combining Orifarm's unique Pan-European presence with our capabilities across the pharmaceutical value chain, we aim to create innovative partnership solutions that benefit both our partners and healthcare systems.
As Pharma Trade Partnering Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and growing this new business area. This is a commercially focused role combining external business development with portfolio analysis and opportunity assessment. Success will depend on your ability to build relationships, understand partner needs, identify attractive opportunities, and translate insights into sustainable business agreements.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders
- Evaluating product portfolios and commercial opportunities to identify areas for partnership and growth
- Developing business cases and assessing the commercial potential of new opportunities
- Leading commercial discussions and negotiations from initial contact to signed agreement
- Representing Orifarm at international conferences, customer meetings, and industry events
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to structure and execute partnership agreements
Who are you?
You have experience from pharmaceutical business development, licensing, portfolio management, commercial partnerships, market access, or a similar commercial role within the healthcare industry.
You combine strong relationship-building skills with a solid analytical mindset. You enjoy meeting customers, creating opportunities, and building long-term partnerships, but you are equally comfortable analyzing portfolios, evaluating commercial opportunities, and developing data-driven business cases.
We imagine that you:
- Have a strong commercial mindset and a track record of creating business opportunities
- Are skilled at building relationships and engaging senior stakeholders
- Have experience with partnerships, negotiations, licensing, or business development
- Have strong analytical capabilities and enjoy assessing portfolios and commercial potential
- Take ownership and thrive with a high degree of independence
- Combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
- Enjoy working in an international environment with regular travel
- Embrace AI and digital tools to improve analysis, decision-making, and productivity
Who are we?
You will join the Business Development & Portfolio Management organization within Pharma Trade and play a key role in building a new partnering capability focused on strategic collaborations with pharmaceutical companies.
You will work closely with colleagues across Pharma Trade, Specialty Rx, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and Portfolio Development to ensure successful execution of partnership opportunities.
