Responsibilities

Platform Architecture

Architect and drive the reliability, scalability and performance of a multi-cloud provisioning platform across production environments

Automation & Provisioning

Design and implement end-to-end automation pipelines to eliminate manual intervention and reduce technical toil

Reliability Monitoring

Define, monitor and improve critical system health indicators including SLIs, SLOs, latency, throughput, error rates and capacity

Security & Collaboration

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed reliability and security considerations early into the SDLC

Incident Response

Lead incident detection, triage, root cause analysis and long-term preventative engineering solutions

System Simplification

Audit platform operations to identify bottlenecks, eliminate single points of failure and reduce structural complexity

Requirements

Senior Engineering Experience

10+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, DevOps or Systems Infrastructure

AWS Expertise

3+ years of advanced experience architecting and troubleshooting AWS cloud environments

Kubernetes & Containers

3+ years of production-level experience managing, scaling and provisioning Kubernetes clusters

Technical Autonomy

Proven ability to make sound architectural decisions and deliver production-ready automated infrastructure independently

Leadership & Collaboration

Strong technical communication skills with the ability to align with Technical Leads and collaborate across engineering teams

Problem Solving & Reliability

Strong problem-solving mindset, engineering excellence and system reliability focus, with resilience during high-pressure incidents and a systematic approach to complexity
