At Doxis, we build AI systems that understand and process millions of real-world business documents. Our technology helps companies automatically extract data from invoices, receipts, passports and contracts using advanced machine learning, computer vision and LLM-based AI systems.

To keep that platform running at scale, we are hiring a Cloud Engineer who wants to own cloud infrastructure from design to production. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across cloud architecture, Kubernetes and developer tooling.

What You'll Do

Most importantly, you will design and run the cloud infrastructure behind AI systems used by global companies. Every month we process around 10 million documents on it.

• Analyze, design and build cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure that international companies rely on
• Roll out and operate applications in our Azure Kubernetes cluster
• Connect our cluster to our GitLab CI/CD environment and enable deployments from it
• Optimize the workload in the cluster and keep it cost-efficient
• Improve monitoring and logging, and make it available and visible to developers
• Autoscale nodes and pods based on workload using KEDA and Horizontal Pod Scaling
• Work closely with a team of around 25 developers on efficient, secure Docker images and technical decisions about what runs in the cluster

What You Bring

We look for the right work ethic, character and a genuine passion for technology. We care less about specific degrees or numbers of years of experience.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a big plus
• Experience hosting high-availability services within Kubernetes
• A builder mindset: you see the full picture, think ahead and design solutions that last
• Deep understanding of system scalability and performance engineering
• Experience building efficient, secure Docker images and/or deploying multiple programming languages via Docker images (a plus)
• Experience with Kubernetes zero-downtime deployment, automatic node/pod scaling and/or GPUs in Kubernetes (a plus)
• Curiosity about the latest cloud services and innovations, and the drive to keep expanding that knowledge
• You speak English fluently, any additional language is a plus
