Job Overview
We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Driver / Chauffeur to join our team in Portugal.
The successful candidate will provide safe, comfortable, and professional transportation services for clients, including private individuals, business customers, and guests. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in excellent customer service, has a professional appearance, and knows the roads and major destinations in Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to and from requested destinations.
- Provide professional chauffeur services with a high standard of customer care.
- Pick up and drop off clients at airports, hotels, offices, residences, and other locations.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-presented vehicle.
- Assist passengers with luggage when required.
- Plan routes and use GPS/navigation systems efficiently.
- Follow Portuguese road traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Maintain punctuality and communicate professionally with clients.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and ensure the vehicle remains in good working condition.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy.
- Complete basic trip and mileage records when required.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven in Portugal.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Previous experience as a professional driver, chauffeur, taxi/private-hire driver, or delivery driver is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local roads and major destinations in Portugal.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate politely and confidently with passengers.
- Basic English is preferred; Portuguese is an advantage.
- Ability to use GPS and smartphone navigation applications.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with VIP, executive, corporate, hotel, or airport transfers.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Knowledge of Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Algarve, or other major Portuguese destinations.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
- Valid professional driver documentation, where required by Portuguese law.
