Our Excelitas site in Regen is our centre of excellence for high-precision optics. From development to production on state-of-the-art machines, specialists work here with passion to meet all customer requirements on a daily basis. A wide range of highly precise optical components are reliably supplied to a wide variety of markets and applications. Examples of applications include dental cameras and endoscopes in medical applications, head-up displays in the aerospace industry, aerial cameras and a wide range of special solutions in the field of research and development.

Main responsibilities

• Perfect preparation: In our in-house training workshop and with a full-time instructor, you’ll learn everything about setting up and retooling CNC production machines.
• High-tech meets craftsmanship: Whether manual or industrial manufacturing techniques—you’ll become proficient in working with various machines and production processes.
• Maintain, inspect, optimize: You’ll inspect tools and machines, perform maintenance tasks, and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the production floor.
• Quality that impresses: You’ll learn how to ensure—and even improve—product quality through targeted measures and preventive maintenance.
• Work-Life Balance: Your 35-hour workweek, 30 days of vacation, and flexible working hours ensure you have enough time for yourself and your hobbies.
• All-Inclusive Package: To help you stay fully focused on your tasks, you can refuel at our in-house/discounted cafeteria. In addition to your apprenticeship stipend—currently €1,308 gross in the first year of training—you’ll receive a special bonus, capital-forming benefits, monthly allowances, and many employee discounts.
