Aufgaben
- Supporting production sites in optimising and maintaining production plant, in particular extrusion blow moulding machines
- Implementing measures to prevent or reduce downtime
- Managing projects involving the repair, overhaul and relocation of production plant; drawing up schedules and cost estimates
- Carrying out manual work involved in the assembly, dismantling and repair of machine components
- Cleaning and inspecting components and, where necessary, obtaining and comparing quotations
- Coordinating with internal and external suppliers to ensure work is carried out properly and to minimise downtime, in coordination with production planning and the management of the site concerned
- Assessing and documenting the condition of machinery, as well as the measures to be derived from this, and managing the relevant database
- Drawing up specifications
- Drawing up systematic maintenance schedules
- Conducting training courses in the areas of repair and maintenance
- Drawing up service instructions and guidelines
Qualifikation
- Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, technical engineer or a comparable qualification
- Strong planning and practical skills, as well as experience in the assembly, dismantling and repair of production plant and automation technology, including service assignments abroad
- Comprehensive knowledge of plastics processing machinery, in particular extrusion blow moulding machines, as well as a basic understanding of the extrusion blow moulding process
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drive technology, as well as knowledge of mechanical machining and heat treatment methods
- Experience in planning, managing, implementing and documenting projects involving external suppliers, as well as in preventive maintenance
- Proficiency in MS Office, as well as good command of English with a technical focus
- At least 8 years’ relevant professional experience
- An independent, solution-oriented and structured approach to work, with a strong focus on safety
- Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 40 per cent of annual working hours), as well as the ability to adapt, work in a team and learn
