Your Task

• Independent conduct of complex work in the field of network security architecture.
• Creating, developing and enforcing architectural principles, standards, standards and good practices
• Participation in the development of safe technical designs and safety standards.
• Building and developing a network security strategy in line with the next generation approach.
• Translating business needs and goals into technical and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with architects of other areas, in particular infrastructure, cloud, applications and enterprise architecture.
• Ensuring the consistency of the designed solutions with the target security architecture.
• Transformation and continuous improvement of the current network security architecture.
• Conducting architectural reviews, threat modeling and project evaluations in terms of security.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of network security.
• Higher education in computer science, cybersecurity, telecommunications or a related field.
• Experience designing enterprise-class cybersecurity solutions for on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience working in a large and complex organizational and technological environment.
• Very good knowledge of architectural principles, standards and good practices.
• Advanced knowledge of transport, application, control, and routing protocols and associated threats.
• Good knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms and protocols.
• Knowledge of DDoS protection solutions, knowledge of Arbor is welcome.
• Knowledge of the concept of Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Knowledge of network security in cloud environments, knowledge of AWS preferred.
• Experience in designing or implementing Web Application Firewall solutions.
• Experience working with Next Generation Firewall solutions.
• Experience in conducting risk modeling and project reviews for security.

Knowledge of issues related to access points, routers, switches, network gateways, bridges and other elements of network infrastructure.

• Welcomed:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry or critical infrastructure environment.
• Knowledge of software-defined network architecture, microsegmentation and SASE/SSE solutions.
• Experience in designing secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security standards and methodologies such as NIST, ISO 27001 or CIS Controls.
• Industry certifications related to security, architecture or network technologies.

About Us

For the Cyber Security team at TMPL, we are looking for an experienced Network Security Architect who will be responsible for the development and transformation of the network security architecture.

In this role, he will set standards and directions for network security development, support the design of secure solutions, and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application and enterprise architecture architects.
