Product Marketing Student Assistant, Copenhagen
Vivino · Copenhagen, Denmark
You apply on the site where the job is posted. I never handle applications.
Vivino is the world's largest wine marketplace. More than 74 million people use us to find a bottle they will love. As our new Product Marketing Student Assistant, you will write the messages that reach them: the push notification, the in-app message, and the email that gets someone to try a new feature.
Write the messages that millions of wine lovers open
You will write and design product marketing content that goes out to wine lovers all over the world: in-app messages, push notifications, and emails. When the product team launches a new feature, you work out how to tell people about it. Then you check how it did, and use that to make the next one better. About 70% of your work week is writing. The rest is spent with the people you work with. There is a weekly meeting where we agree together on what matters most. You will work closely with Product Managers to get a sense of what's coming, the Marketing team to know what’s trending, and the CRM team to help you send it.
The role is based in our Copenhagen office, and you will be part of the global marketing team. After six months, you'll be planning and sending content on your own. Your emails will be beating our current open and click rates.
The tasks and responsibilities can be summarised as follows:
- Write and design copy for in-app messages, push notifications, and emails
- Announce new app features, tell people about Vivino Premium, and share wine tips and wine content worth reading
- Write for the person receiving it, so that what we send is worth opening
- Check how your content performed and share what you learned
- Work closely with the Product, Marketing and CRM teams
This is a part-time student position of approximately 15–20 hours a week, paid at around DKK 150 per hour. We plan your hours around your lectures and exam periods, not the other way round.
Good with words, and even better at planning
While we prefer not to confine anyone to rigid categories, we believe you will thrive and succeed in this position if you like working in an organised way, keeping track of your own tasks, and getting them done on time. You explain things clearly — you can take a complicated product update and put it into one sentence that a busy person can understand. You get on well with people and find it easy to work with other teams, which matters a lot here. You also bring things to the table yourself. When you spot something worth saying, you say it.
Furthermore, we would imagine experience levels as follows:
-
You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme or other educational programmes for the duration of your time with us.
- Common studies could be within marketing, communications and business, but this is not a requirement
-
You write and speak English fluently and can tell a story in very few words
-
You pick up new tools and systems quickly
-
You enjoy working with other teams and are easy to work with when things get busy
-
An interest in wine, food or apps is a bonus, not a requirement
Even if you don't check every single box, but find the position interesting and relevant, we still want to hear from you.
