We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Head of Business Development Data Centers - Europe. In this position you will play a crucial role in identifying and capturing strategic growth opportunities, strengthening our market position, and shaping the future capabilities required to support the sector's expanding needs. Working closely with customers, business leaders, and global stakeholders, you will influence investment priorities, develop partnerships, and drive sustainable growth across the region. As the recognized authority for the Data Center sector in Europe, you will play a pivotal role in defining both regional success and sector strategy.

The role is open for European countries.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Define and execute the European Data Center sector strategy, setting the vision, priorities, and long-term growth roadmap across the region.
• Identify and capture strategic growth opportunities by anticipating market trends, customer needs, and emerging industry developments.
• Drive revenue growth, pipeline expansion, and market share gains, ensuring the sector achieves ambitious commercial objectives, in close collaboration with DHL Supply Chain Global Account Management, other regions, the European clusters and countries, and the division Customer Solutions and Innovation of DHL Group.
• Build and maintain relationships with critical customers in the data centers ecosystem, e.g., hyperscalers, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Sponsor and lead high-value strategic pursuits, commercial negotiations, and complex customer engagements that deliver significant business impact.
• Unlock new business opportunities arising from AI-related infrastructure investments across Europe.
• Shape future capabilities and influence investment decisions, including strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and innovative service offerings that strengthen competitive advantage.
• Lead and inspire the European Data Center community, coordinating country-level initiatives, sharing best practices, and driving regional alignment.
• Represent DHL as a thought leader and trusted industry expert at executive customer meetings, industry events, and key market forums while influencing solution innovation and sector direction.
• Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, customers, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.

You won’t find another Head of Business Development Data Centers - Europe position like the one you’ll find with DHL Supply Chain. Now, here’s what we need from you:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in business development, or account management within supply chain, technology infrastructure, consulting, or a related industry.
• Proven expertise within the Data Center sector or related sectors, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and customer requirements.
• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, developing strategic accounts, and capturing new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, cross-selling, contract negotiations, and revenue growth.
• Ability to develop compelling customer value propositions, lead complex sales pursuits, and influence executive-level decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse internal and external networks.
• Proven experience leading strategic initiatives, change management programs, and cross-functional projects in complex international environments.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire teams and shape decisions at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
