At KROHNE New Technologies in Dordrecht, our dedicated research and development team specializes in creating ultrasonic and electromagnetic flowmeters. These cutting-edge devices find applications across a wide range of industries, including hydrogen, petrochemicals, liquefied natural gas, water, wastewater, and food processing.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a talented Test Engineer (full-time) to join our Verification Team. As part of our Research & Development organization, you will work closely with product development engineers on the development of next-generation electromagnetic and ultrasonic flowmeters.
In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and validating product performance through laboratory and flow rig testing, ensuring our solutions meet performance requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations. Your test results and technical insights will directly contribute to product development and help bring innovative measurement technologies to market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and evaluate performance tests on electromagnetic and ultrasonic flowmeters.
- Perform rig tests under a variety of operating conditions to verify compliance with specifications and applicable standards.
- Work closely with the engineering teams to define test requirements and test plans.
- Prepare clear and concise test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external testing laboratories and provide support during qualification and testing. Qualifications:
- Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with measurement and data acquisition equipment (e.g., dataloggers, sensors and test instrumentation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Persistent and results-oriented, with the determination to overcome technical problems.
- Experience with flow measurement technologies, particularly electromagnetic and ultrasonic flowmeters, is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
