Financial Accountant

In this versatile role, you will combine operational accounting activities with responsibilities for reporting, controls, and process optimization.

Your responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will ensure that the financial administration is processed completely, accurately, and on time. You are an important member of the finance team and actively contribute to reliable financial reporting.

• Processing and reviewing financial transactions (General Ledger);
• Executing weekly domestic and international payments;
• Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts;
• Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings;
• Supporting internal and external audits;
• Preparing intercompany invoices;
• Managing financial data in Power BI;
• Reconciling intercompany balances and transactions;
• Managing fixed assets;
• Preparing VAT, ICP, and CBS declarations;
• Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable positions;
• Identifying and implementing improvements in administrative processes;
• Acting as a backup for the Controller and Financial Controller.

What are we looking for?

• Completed financial education (MBO+/Bachelor's degree level) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance & Control, or a related field;
• Several years of relevant experience in a finance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment;
• Solid knowledge of financial administration, month-end closings, and reporting;
• Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills;
• A proactive, accurate, and structured working style;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues within and outside the Finance department.
