A Snapshot of your day
This role is a new addition to the Payroll team, created to support the global roll-out of a new Time & Attendance (UKG) system. As a Specialist Professional, this position is critical for establishing and owning the end-to-end testing process to ensure the quality and accuracy of data flowing into payroll systems, directly impacting employee salaries. To meet this objective, the role is structured around two core areas: Test Strategy & Methodology Definition and Test Execution & Quality Assurance. This involves designing the entire testing framework, from templates to phases, and then leading the execution of these tests to validate system integrity and functionality across a global landscape. Given the focus on system quality and data accuracy, the ideal candidate will possess subject matter expertise in HR systems testing, particularly with Time & Attendance and its integration with payroll. This position requires proven experience in leading large-scale testing projects, defining test methodologies, and coaching others.
How you'll make a difference
- Develop and own the end-to-end test methodology, strategy, and master test plan for the global UKG Time & Attendance implementation
- Design and create standardized testing templates, including test cases, test scripts, and defect reporting formats
- Define and document all testing phases (e.g., System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Payroll Parallel Testing), including entry and exit criteria
- Coach and delegate work to project team members and business stakeholders on the established testing processes and tools
- Lead and coordinate all testing activities across multiple countries, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Execute complex, end-to-end test scenarios to validate system functionality, data integrity, and the flow of information to downstream payroll systems
- Manage the defect lifecycle by identifying, documenting, and tracking issues to resolution in collaboration with technical teams
- Compile and present comprehensive test summary reports to stakeholders, detailing testing progress, system quality, and go-live readiness
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in a software quality assurance or test lead role, specifically focused on HR systems
- Proven experience leading testing for large-scale, global system implementations, preferably with Time & Attendance (e.g., UKG) and Payroll platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in creating test strategies, plans, and managing the full testing lifecycle
- Proven experience in Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Payroll Systems, Process Improvement, Workflow Management, Report Writing and Time and Attendance
- Troubleshooting, analytical skills and investigation
