At GXO Logistics, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Business Unit Engineer to join our team, supporting multiple sites across Eindhoven and Venray. In this role, you will turn operational data and customer requirements into practical supply chain solutions, working closely with customers, site teams and cross-functional stakeholders. From solution design and process improvement to implementation and continuous improvement, you will play a key role in delivering solutions that create real operational and business value.

How you'll make an impact
- Analyze operational and customer data to identify improvement opportunities and develop practical, scalable supply chain solutions.
- Translate business and operational requirements into robust solution designs, including facility layouts, operating processes and equipment requirements.
- Partner with customers, site teams and senior stakeholders to validate requirements, gain alignment and provide recommendations throughout the solution development process.
- Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional project teams and assess the logistics impact of proposed plans and changes.
- Partner with HR, IT, Operations and other key functions to develop SOPs, provide required data and support successful implementation and operational readiness.
- Monitor implementation plans and progress, ensuring delivery within agreed quality, timing and cost, while supporting continuous improvement.
What you'll bring to GXO
- Strong experience in a similar engineering role within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a 3PL environment is highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of automation, robotics and process improvement.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is considered as an advantage.
- Fluency in English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented approach.
