What you’ll do
This is a broad, hands-on internship where you’ll learn how different digital marketing channels work together to grow a global marketplace. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, take ownership of real projects and see the impact of your work.
Affiliate marketing will be an important part of your internship. You’ll help us grow partnerships that introduce TicketSwap to new audiences, while exploring plenty of other areas of digital marketing along the way.
You’ll:
- Help manage and grow our affiliate program, from finding new partners to supporting existing collaborations
- Research new partners, publishers and platforms across markets, and support outreach and onboarding - tracking links, event feeds and program documentation
- Keep the affiliate pipeline organised: partner records, open items and day-to-day communication
- Support the monthly invoice and payout process, and help keep commission reporting clean and auditable
- Monitor affiliate performance and turn what you find into clear next steps
- Support the setup, testing and optimisation of affiliate campaigns and landing pages
- Spot upcoming on-sales, hot events and campaign angles that partners can promote
- Get hands-on with the wider marketing mix: CRM campaigns, SEO content and paid advertising
- Bring your own ideas, test them, and share what you learn. We don't expect every idea to work, but we do expect curiosity Job requirements
About You
We don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything. That’s the point of an internship. We’re looking for someone who’s curious about digital marketing, enjoys figuring things out and wants to turn ideas into action.
You’ll probably feel at home here if:
- You already have the right to live and complete an internship in the Netherlands, as we’re unable to provide visa sponsorship or immigration support for this internship.
- You’re currently studying Marketing, Business, Communication, Digital Media or another relevant field.
- You’re genuinely interested in digital marketing and want to understand how different channels work together.
- You’re particularly curious about affiliate and performance marketing.
- You enjoy working with numbers and aren’t afraid to dig into campaign results or spreadsheets.
- You’re proactive and comfortable taking ownership once you understand what needs to be done.
- You like experimenting with new tools and are curious about automation and AI.
- You’re organised and can keep track of different projects and priorities.
- You communicate clearly and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
- You’re comfortable working in English in an international environment.
- You’re available for 40 hours per week for at least five months.
- You’re able to work onsite from our Amsterdam office during your internship.
Experience with affiliate platforms, CRM tools, Google Ads, SEO tools, analytics or automation is a plus, but definitely not a requirement. Show us that you’re curious and ready to learn.
Why you’ll love it here
You won’t spend five months watching from the sidelines. You’ll contribute to real marketing activities for a marketplace used by millions of fans around the world.
You’ll have room to take ownership, ask questions and challenge ideas. At TicketSwap, good ideas can come from anywhere. We move quickly, learn by doing and work together without ego.
By the end of your internship, you’ll have built practical experience across several areas of digital marketing, with deeper knowledge of affiliate marketing and a better understanding of what it takes to grow an international marketplace.
And because we’re in the business of live experiences, you’ll be surrounded by people who genuinely care about music, festivals, sports and everything that brings fans together.
