Digital Agronomy Manager Iberia

The Digital Agronomy Manager Iberia will be responsible for developing and implementing Pioneer’s Digital Agronomy strategy across Spain and Portugal, ensuring that digital solutions contribute to customer success, strengthen the commercial organization and support business growth.

Reporting to the Marketing Department, this role maintains close collaboration with Area Sales Managers , Technical Sales Specialists , Agronomy and the EMEA-APAC Digital Agriculture team, acting as the operational link between customer needs, agronomic expertise and digital innovation.

The position combines agronomic knowledge with a strong understanding of digital farming technologies and customer needs. A significant part of the role is spent working alongside commercial teams in the field, supporting customers and identifying opportunities where Pioneer digital solutions can generate practical agronomic and commercial value.

The role is also responsible for representing the needs of the Iberian market within the European Digital Agriculture organization, ensuring that new digital capabilities respond to local business priorities and are successfully adopted across Spain and Portugal.

Main responsabilities

• Implement the Digital Agronomy strategy for Spain and Portugal, aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
• Drive the adoption and effective use of Granular Link and Pioneer digital solutions among commercial teams, distributors and customers.
• Work closely with ASMs and TSSs in the field, providing technical support and integrating digital tools into customer interactions.
• Identify customer needs and translate them into practical digital solutions that improve agronomic decision making and customer experience.
• Act as the main liaison between Iberia and the European Digital Agriculture teams, providing market feedback and supporting the deployment of new capabilities.
• Support Marketing and Commercial teams with digital agronomic expertise for product positioning, campaigns and customer recommendations.
• Coordinate local validation activities and support the generation of technical evidence for Pioneer products and services.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, customer demonstrations and practical training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with growers, distributors, advisers and industry partners to strengthen Pioneer’s technical leadership.

• Sevilla highly preferred, open to consider other locations.

• Strong understanding of agronomic practices, precision agriculture and digital farming systems.
• Customer and field-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand real farming challenges and translate them into practical solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with commercial teams, providing technical support and helping integrate digital capabilities into the sales process.
• Analytical skills to interpret agronomic and digital datasets and transform them into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with Digital Agriculture platforms, remote sensing and precision farming technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across Marketing, Sales, Agronomy and international teams.
• Ability to identify customer needs and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital products and services.
• Project management, organizational skills and results-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English.
• Availability to travel frequently across Spain and Portugal and occasionally within Europe.
