The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a non-political and non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening and uniting European Radiology. With more than 149,000 members worldwide, it has become the largest radiological society that organises one of the most innovative scientific congresses in this field, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), in Vienna.
Our Subspecialty Society & Congress Services team is looking for a committed new team member (full-time - 38.5h) as a temporary replacement (at least 1 year).
Tasks
- Society administration (e.g. scheduling and organising meetings, support to the board and committees)
- Members and participants support (e.g. administration, correspondence, registration)
- Supporting the organisation and onsite management of the annual congress, meetings, workshops, webinars, etc.
- Marketing and communications (e.g. website, social media, mailings)
- Data administration and file management
- Preparation of overviews, evaluations and analyses (e.g. for accounting)
Requirements
- Excellent command of English (at least C1) - additional languages are a benefit
- Excellent MS Office skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in society or event management is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Strong organisational skills
- Willingness to travel (within Europe)

The monthly gross salary for this job vacancy is at least € 2,400 for 38.5h (14 times per year). The final salary depends on your relevant experience and qualifications and can be negotiated.
