Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a strategic initiative focused on developing a next-generation cloud data warehouse platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and Optimize GCP Data Pipelines: Design scalable data integration solutions, data models, and cloud warehouses using SQL, Python, dbt, and Apache Airflow while ensuring high performance, reliability, and automated CI/CD deployment.

• Drive Engineering Excellence and Architecture: Contribute to technical architecture, DevOps automation, testing standards, and Agile solution design. Required Qualifications:

• 9 -10+ years of professional experience in Data engineering.

• Extensive experience designing and implementing data integration solutions, data models, data structures, and scalable data pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proven experience with data onboarding and integrating data from multiple source systems.

• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability and performance of data platforms and pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in: SQL, Python, dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation, modeling, and automation

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, operational excellence, and platform reliability.

• Experience with GitLab and GitHub and modern version control practices in an Agile development environment.

• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong experience with testing, quality assurance, and test automation.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Flexible and able to find ways to work effective outside standard processes and roles.
