Production & Plate freezing (Morning shift)

As a Production & Plate Freezing Worker, you will work in production around the plate freezing process. The company processes and freezes animal by-products such as intestines and stomachs. This means you need to be comfortable working with animal products and in an environment where the products can have a stronger smell.

During the plate freezing process, products are placed between refrigerated freezing plates so they can freeze quickly and evenly. You will help load and unload the plate freezers, monitor the freezing cycles and check the quality of the products.

You will also help clean and sanitize the production area after production. As you gain experience and learn the process, you can take on more responsibility and eventually help guide other team members.

• Assisting with the plate freezing process
• Loading and unloading the plate freezers
• Monitoring freezing cycles and product quality
• Reporting issues or irregularities
• Cleaning and sanitizing the production area after production
• Following hygiene, safety and food industry regulations
• Supporting colleagues during the production process
• Eventually helping to guide other team members

About the role

In this position, you will work at a coldstorage in Duiven. You will have a varied role combining production and cleaning activities.

You will work in the morning shift, often starting from 04:00. You will receive an extra allowance for the early working hours. You will work full-time from Monday to Friday. Occasionally, you may also be required to work on Saturdays.

There are opportunities to develop within the production process and take on more responsibility. If you show that you can manage the plate freezing process effectively, keep production running smoothly and help guide the team, you can grow into a working team leader position.

What we offer

• A starting salary of €15.00 gross per hour
• Extra allowance on the early hours;
• Opportunity to increase to €16,50 gross per hour within a few months;
