About the Role

We're looking for a Senior React Native Developer to take ownership of the mobile side of our projects. You'll build and ship production apps on both iOS and Android for international clients, from architecture decisions through to store release.

AI tools and autonomous agents are part of how we work. You'll use them to accelerate development, improve code quality, and explore more effective technical solutions, while maintaining direct responsibility over what you build.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications with React Native
• Own the full release cycle on both App Store and Google Play
• Make architectural decisions on state management, navigation, and native integrations
• Write and maintain native modules (Swift/Kotlin) when the platform requires it
• Profile and optimize performance, startup time, and memory across both platforms
• Set mobile engineering standards and lead code reviews
• Mentor mid-level developers and grow the team's mobile capability
• Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to improve productivity and quality
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend engineers on technical direction

Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 on React Native
• Multiple apps shipped and maintained in production on both iOS and Android
• Solid command of TypeScript, modern React patterns, and state management
• Direct experience with the native layer: Xcode, Android Studio, build configs, signing, provisioning
• Understanding of the full release pipeline: CI/CD, store submission, OTA updates, crash reporting
• Ability to debug across the JS/native boundary, not just in JavaScript
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar)
• Good English communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with the New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules) or migrations to it
• Native development background in Swift or Kotlin
• Experience with Expo and its managed/bare workflows
• Automated mobile testing (Detox, Maestro, Jest)
• Offline-first architectures, background tasks, push notifications, deep linking
• Experience mentoring or leading a small mobile team
• Interest in AI, LLMs, or automation
