Job Description
Group IT Controlling is looking for a Junior IT Controller to support the Group IT Infrastructure and Security Department with cost controlling, budget planning, and administrative activities in line with Group recommendations and legal compliance. The Junior IT Controller will report to the IT Controlling Team Lead and support IT Directors and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day Controlling & Compliance for IT costs and IT fees allocation
- Preparation and reconciliation of the budget (participate, prepare, and supervise budgeting for assigned IT scopes, provide feedback to relevant IT Directors, challenge the quality and validity of the data)
- Various initiatives to drive cost transparency and cost reporting capabilities
Cost Controlling:
- Organize accurate cost tracking of IT Costs on a large scale - cost centers scattered across the globe
- Analyse deviations between actuals, budgets and forecasts, report to respective stakeholders, flag risks, challenge budget owners to bridge gaps and monitor action plans
- Coordinate proper implementation of agreed solutions such as asset activations, accruals bookings, proper P&L line use with local finance teams
- Profitability analysis and evaluation of IT infrastructure and security investments
Organisation:
- Explain and answer questions of business, finance & IT leaders regarding IT fees
- Work closely with Group IT & Group Finance to support the introduction and management of Group’s Finance policies & procedures
- Maintain financial set-up and flows of IT organisation
- Coordinate proper intercompany invoicing with National Service Centers
Qualifications
Skills:
- Dynamic, proactive, detail-oriented personality with a strong sense of responsibility regarding priorities, deadlines and data quality
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Pronounced analytical and communication skills
- Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge (nice to have)
- PowerBI/Power Query knowledge (nice to have)
- Cognos TM1 knowledge (nice to have)
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- 1-3 years experience gained as a Controller/Financial Analyst/Accountant/Auditor
- English (fluent) required
- Experience with IT projects is a plus
