About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Software Verification Engineer to join an automotive software verification team focused on functional validation of complete vehicle electrical systems prior to software releases. In this role, you will work in a collaborative international environment, partnering with global engineering teams to ensure the quality and reliability of embedded software integration across next-generation vehicles.
You will be responsible for executing verification activities, developing test methods, analyzing software behavior, and supporting issue resolution at the vehicle integration level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional verification and integration testing of complete vehicle electrical systems.
- Perform both directed and exploratory testing, analyze test results, and investigate software failures.
- Develop, maintain, and improve verification test methods and test procedures.
- Configure, update, and maintain vehicle test environments and test vehicles.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and test leads to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve vehicle-level software integration issues.
- Support software release validation by ensuring system functionality and quality standards are met.
- Work effectively with distributed international engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive embedded systems integration and software verification.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle integration and functional testing.
- Proven experience conducting automotive testing on vehicles.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex software issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Valid Swedish driving license.
