About MHG Global
MHG Global is a hospitality infrastructure platform for independent hotels.
Most hotels worldwide operate outside the major brands. They carry strong local identity and real guest relationships, but lack the technology, distribution, capital, and talent infrastructure typically reserved for large hospitality groups.
MHG Global is building that infrastructure and making it available to independent hotel owners without requiring a brand trade. The platform owns its technology stack, integrated across the hotel network: procurement, CRM, HRM, training, PMS, back office and POS, CRS with content management, TA portal and allotment, and booking engine.
Position Summary
The Head of Growth and Strategic Partnerships builds MHG Global's hotel network and the partnerships that support it — from origination through to signature. The role carries the growth number and owns delivery against it.
This is a hands-on appointment. The successful candidate builds the pipeline personally in the first year, then leads a small EU team as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, negotiate, and close agreements with independent hotels, owner groups, and operators
- Convert introductions sourced by the firm's advisors and leadership into signed agreements
- Develop and execute market entry plans
- Shape the commercial structures offered to member hotels, including management, franchise, and affiliation arrangements
- Identify, appoint, and manage country partners and regional directors
- Establish partnerships with technology, distribution, and industry organisations
- Build and lead the EU growth team
- Represent MHG Global at international conferences and industry forums
- Support the development of the group's education ecosystem
Qualifications and Experience
- 7–12 years in hotel development, business development, asset management, hospitality investment, or platform / travel-tech growth (e.g. Agoda, Traveloka, Klook), with international exposure
- An established network among hotel owners and operators
- Experience appointing or managing partners, franchisees, or regional representatives
- Comfortable building a pipeline personally, without the benefit of established brand recognition
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Demonstrated experience originating and closing complex B2B commercial agreements is required. Direct experience with hotel owners, management, franchise, or affiliation agreements is strongly preferred
Compensation
Base salary of USD 70,000, plus annual performance bonus, transaction incentives, and long-term equity participation through ESOP. Transaction incentives and equity participation are the principal earnings opportunities in this role.
