About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with strong professional experience in both React and Angular.

You will join an international automotive project and take ownership of the analysis, design, development and testing of user stories. This position is ideal for an autonomous developer who can deliver reliable solutions, anticipate risks and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently analyse, design and develop user stories;
• Build and maintain web applications using React and Angular;
• Develop clean, scalable and maintainable code with JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Integrate Front-End applications with RESTful APIs;
• Create and maintain unit tests;
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and potential delivery delays;
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders;
• Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and delivery processes;
• Manage priorities and deadlines effectively.

Mandatory Requirements

• More than 7 years of professional experience in software or web development;
• Strong, hands-on professional experience with both React and Angular;
• High level of autonomy in Front-End analysis, design and development;
• Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs;
• Practical experience with unit testing;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Effective communication skills in English at C1 level;
• Ability to collaborate within a team and manage time effectively;
• Current residence in Portugal;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, with approximately 30% on-site presence.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with cloud environments;
• Knowledge of Git or similar version-control systems;
• Experience working with Scrum or Kanban.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Senior Front-End Developer with more than seven years of experience and proven expertise in both React and Angular.

They are autonomous throughout the software development lifecycle, from analysing user stories to implementation and unit testing. They write maintainable code, integrate applications with RESTful services and proactively identify technical risks or delivery constraints.

They are also comfortable communicating in English within an international team and are already based in Portugal with availability for hybrid work.
