As a Master Data Lead, you will join the Account to Report (A2R) track within Novonesis’ global S/4HANA implementation program. Working alongside Finance stakeholders, the central Data Management team, and colleagues across the global organization, you will help ensure that Finance data is ready for one of the most significant transformation initiatives in the company. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on expertise with strategic impact while contributing to a harmonized S/4HANA solution across Novonesis worldwide.
The role & your impact
In this role, you will combine operational execution with leadership and coordination of Finance data management activities in a complex global transformation program. Your contribution will be essential to ensuring high-quality Finance data, successful migration activities, and long-term governance foundations for the future S/4HANA environment.
Your key responsibilities in this role
- Drive Finance-specific data scoping, source-to-target mapping, selection criteria, cleansing, migration, validation activities, mock loads, cutover preparation, and go-live readiness.
- Partner with the Data Management team and Finance stakeholders to define Finance data standards and definitions.
- Support Finance data migration and cutover execution for the A2R track.
- Analyze, manage, and resolve Finance data issues and defects throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Support the transition from implementation into business-as-usual operations by establishing governance, ownership, and data management standards for the future S/4HANA environment.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
- Degree in Finance, IT, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Finance data management in SAP implementation projects.
- Strong experience with data mapping, cleansing, migration, governance, and validation activities.
- Solid understanding of the full ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Finance-related data objects within SAP environments.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Finance processes.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent English communication skills.
