About the Role
As a Senior NDT Operator / Supervisor, you will join our Field Services business unit based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will support non-destructive testing (NDT) activities at customer sites across Spain and internationally, ensuring inspections are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable quality standards.
You will initially work under the guidance of experienced NDT Supervisors while developing the expertise required to perform supervisory responsibilities independently. This position offers extensive opportunities for professional growth through company-sponsored training, certifications, accreditations, and technical development programs.
You will report to the Field Services NDT Supervisor and be located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid. This is an onsite position with frequent national and international travel to customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and support Non-Destructive Testing activities at customer facilities in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise inspection teams during field assignments, ensuring safe and efficient execution of inspection activities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain inspection records, technical reports, and related documentation.
- Support project execution activities by collaborating with customers, field personnel, and technical teams.
- Develop the competencies required to assume full NDT supervisory responsibilities within the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry as an Operator, Inspector, or Supervisor.
- Certification according to UNE-EN ISO 9712 or equivalent standards.
- Priority certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Visual Testing (VT).
- Additional certifications in Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and/or Eddy Current Testing (ET) are highly valued.
- Intermediate to advanced level of English required for technical documentation and international assignments.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel frequently within Spain and internationally.
- Residence in Madrid or surrounding areas, with regular attendance required at the San Sebastián de los Reyes office when not assigned to field inspections.
