Castle Group is a leading modular construction company delivering innovative, high-quality building solutions across Ireland and Europe. We're currently mobilising our team for the FRD2A project in Fredericia, Denmark, and are looking for an experienced Teleporter (Telehandler) Driver to join us on-site.
Role Overview
The Teleporter Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler on site, supporting the movement, loading and placement of materials, modules and equipment in line with project schedules and site safety requirements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Safely operating the telehandler to load, unload, lift and move materials, modules and equipment around site.
- Working closely with the site team, banksman and subcontractors to coordinate safe lifting and material movements.
- Carrying out daily pre-use machine checks and reporting any faults, defects or maintenance issues.
- Complying with site traffic management plans, lifting procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
- Ensuring loads are handled and stacked safely and in accordance with manufacturer and site guidelines.
- Maintaining good housekeeping around the machine and material storage areas.
- Attending site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings as required.
- Reporting any near misses, hazards or safety concerns to the site management team.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience operating a telehandler/teleporter on construction or modular building sites.
- Valid Telehandler certification (e.g. CPCS, NPORS or equivalent).
- Valid Safe Pass card.
- Strong understanding of site safety and lifting procedures.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced site environment.
- Eligibility to work in Denmark for the duration of the assignment.
