ABOUT WINGSTOP
We're not in the wing business. We're in the flavor business.
Since the first restaurant opened in Texas in 1994, our mission has been to Serve the World Flavor, and we're just getting started. By 2002, we had already served a billion wings worldwide. Flavor is what defines us, and it's what has made Wingstop one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands in the world.
Today we're a $2B+ business with more than 2,000 restaurants globally. In Spain, we opened our first restaurant in Madrid in 2024, and we haven't stopped growing since: we're expanding across Madrid and Barcelona, with more cities on the horizon.
OUR CULTURE
At Wingspain, culture isn't a sign on the wall: it's a management tool. It defines how we work when no one's watching, and that's exactly what matters. Our culture rests on two pillars: real care for people combined with high performance standards, and professional development as a core part of working here. When both are aligned, the business gains autonomy — that's how we scale without losing quality.
We are attitude + talent + flow. It's how we do things, how we relate to each other and to our customers, and the mark we leave. It's not taught, it's transmitted.
We live this culture through four values:
- OWN THE VIBE — The energy you bring changes everything. We don't do drama or feed toxic attitudes: we look for solutions and keep things moving. Everyone owns the team's atmosphere.
- FEEL THE BURN — We face challenges with courage and grit, even when things get intense. We take initiative, jump into the new, and don't shy away from what's difficult.
- EXPERIENCE MAKERS — We're masters at creating experiences people can't wait to repeat. Every interaction matters and every detail is remembered.
- FLAVOR STYLE — We have our own vibe: a mix of attitude, talent and flow that shows when we work together. We do things with intention, never on autopilot.
YOUR ROLE AT WINGSTOP SPAIN
Wingstop Spain is scaling fast, and we need a Finance Manager to act as a true business partner to our Leadership Team — reporting directly to our CEO, as the most senior finance voice in the company. We're a fast-growing business, still early in our journey in Spain, so this is a hands-on role: you'll build the finance function from the ground up and grow into it as we scale, with a clear path toward a future Finance Director role. You'll own financial planning, control and reporting as we grow into a multi-site, multi-city business, coordinating closely with stakeholders across the organization.
- Define and execute the company's financial strategy in line with business goals and our expansion plan, reporting directly to the CEO.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Leadership Team, providing analysis and insight for strategic, operational and investment decisions.
- Build the Business Plan, budgeting, control, reporting, monthly close and forecast processes from scratch.
- Analyze profitability by restaurant, channel and format, driving margin and efficiency improvements; define and optimize cost, CAPEX and OPEX policies.
- Build financial models for new openings, remodels and strategic projects.
- Own cash flow, treasury and liquidity, and coordinate financial reporting to investors and strategic partners.
- Build and grow the finance team as the company scales — starting hands-on, evolving into a leadership role.
- Ensure regulatory, tax and accounting compliance (coordinating audits and advisors), working cross-functionally with Operations, People, Expansion and Supply Chain.
WHO YOU ARE
We're looking for people who feel there's always an opportunity to grow personally and professionally, who have a fire in them to pursue excellence in a fast-paced, growing environment, and who bring strong emotional/social intelligence, professionalism and a can-do attitude.
Role-specific requirements:
- 6-10+ years of experience in senior finance positions, with team leadership experience.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar; MBA or Master's a plus.
- Experience in established companies with mature financial processes; QSR or multi-site experience is a plus.
- Experience in fast-growth environments and scaling processes.
- Solid track record in Business Plan development, management control, reporting and relationships with investors and lenders.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting, tax and compliance regulations.
- Ability to structure and professionalize finance functions.
- Strategic, analytical, results-driven profile with strong influencing skills.
- Genuinely hands-on mindset — comfortable building and doing the operational work yourself in the early stages, not just directing from above.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with reporting/BI tools.
- Professional English.
