Welcome to Strategic Projects
You’ll be part of the Strategic Projects team where you, together with your colleagues, will support senior management and key stakeholders across the business. Your focus will be on supporting our annual strategy process and then bridging it with business delivery to enable lasting change. You will also be part of the wider Strategy, Innovation, and Transformation area which is Ørsted’s engine for shaping the company’s future. The area drives strategic direction, steers investment decisions, partners with the business to cascade strategy into action, and leads innovation to support Ørsted’s long-term ambitions.
As a team, we collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and lead the design phase of high-impact strategic initiatives. By consolidating insights from across the business, we translate complexity into clear, holistic recommendations that drive informed decision-making and meaningful change.
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting and driving strategic projects across the business, applying structured problem-solving, developing top-down storylines, and generating insights that form the foundation for key strategic decisions
- gathering, researching, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights
- identifying organisational opportunities and challenges to shape the scope and direction of strategic initiatives
- managing key stakeholders across the organisation to drive project progress, secure critical input, and ensure alignment
- building and preparing high-quality presentations and decision materials for senior management teams across the business.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a personal drive and ambition to help solve the global climate challenge and key challenges facing the offshore wind industry
- have some experience in management consulting, or strategy and business development from major companies, preferably with experience in the energy space
- have a high willingness to learn, a can-do mindset for challenging tasks, and a strong personal drive to get your tasks done
- have strong analytical skills and an ability to distil key insights from a large amount of information
- have a curious and collaborative mindset and strong ability to work with people across different disciplines

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr54,640.00- kr81,960.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
