What impact will you make?
Deloitte's Energy Trading & Risk Management practice helps leading utilities, producers and trading houses modernize the systems and processes that underpin multi-commodity trading. As a Senior Consultant you will own the delivery of complex transformation projects while shaping our go-to-market and contributing to quantitative excellence across pricing, valuation and risk.
How do you do this?

- Assess current ETRM/CTRM landscapes, identify data and workflow gaps, and recommend improvements independent of vendor.
- Design target operating models, control frameworks and roadmaps that align people, process and technology to strategic goals.
- Drive digital initiatives such as data-driven trading, advanced analytics and automation proof-of-concepts.
- Facilitate client workshops, manage work-stream deliverables, track risks and provide clear status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to proposals, market research and thought-leadership pieces that expand our Energy Trading & Risk Management offering.
- Develop and validate pricing models for multi-commodity derivatives and structured products; assess methodological soundness and calibrate assumptions to market conditions.
- Support valuation frameworks for complex trading portfolios, ensuring consistency with accounting standards and risk reporting requirements.
- Analyse market and credit risk sensitivities; contribute to model governance, backtesting and independent validation.
- Translate quantitative requirements into any trading system specifications and data architecture; support implementation of risk measurement frameworks.
