Process Team Leader

Your tasks
We are currently looking for experienced Process Team Leader. This position is responsible for leading a team that supports the development of high-precision automated and manual assembly processes, the transfer of these processes and products to manufacturing, and the ongoing technical support for them in a production environment. The aim being to deliver improved capacity scalability and yields.
Key tasks:
- Guiding teams through in-depth root cause analysis to solve complex production issues and implement lasting corrective actions basing on performance KPI
- Leading initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows
- Effectively assigning tasks and empowering team members to take ownership and grow
- Supervise and strategically plan optimization activities for production processes
- Supervise the creation and maintenance of all process documentation, such as work instructions and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Provide advanced technical support to production by appropriately assigning tasks to engineers
- Lead the collaboration with departments such as planning, quality, purchasing, and maintenance
- Coordinate the team's collaboration with the R&D department on testing and prototyping Performing assessment of new equipment and processes
Your profile
- Educated in an engineering subject to degree level
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 3 years in a team lead, supervisory, or senior role
- Proven ability to create and execute a strategic project roadmap, including prioritizing initiatives, setting clear goals, and effectively allocating team resources
- Experience in leading the optimization of production processes and line balancing
- Proven experience to develop new assembly processes and to transfer the processes to manufacturing
- Able to conceptualize assembly and automation methods and to understand interactions between components, processes and product performance
- Practise knowledge with SPC, FMEA, VSM, MES
- Experience in implementing improvements projects
- Experience in analysing and interpreting data ie with Business Intelligence (BI) tools to drive strategic decisions
- Very good spoken and written English
