Marketplace Manager (m/f/d) – Amazon & E-Commerce, Berlin
Niboline GmbH · Berlin, Germany
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Purpose?
At Niboline, marketplace management means taking ownership of products, not just tasks.
You are responsible for how your portfolio performs: sales, ranking, pricing, stock, and contribution margin. You understand what drives each product, identify problems early, and turn data into clear commercial decisions.
We develop and sell our brands, mainly on Amazon across Europe. With around €20M in annual revenue and a team of around 30 people, you work directly with the products, the data, and the people making the decisions.
Expected results for this role in the first 12 months?
- Own a portfolio of products across our Amazon marketplaces and be accountable for their commercial performance.
- Understand your products better than anyone else: why customers buy them, what reviews tell us, where competitors are stronger, and what we should change.
- Manage pricing, promotions, stock risks, rankings, listings, and contribution margins with a clear view of how they affect each other.
- Bring new products to market: analyze the niche, define the positioning, prepare the listing, and manage the launch.
- Turn data into decisions. We work with Sellerboard, DataDive, Keepa, Seller Central, and our data sources. We expect a recommendation, not just a report.
- Identify problems before they become revenue problems: stockouts, declining rankings, margin pressure, weak conversion, or changing competition.
- Plan seasonal products and promotions early and coordinate directly with Sourcing, Advertising, and Creative.
- Improve how you work with AI. We already build internal dashboards, cockpits, and workflows with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Lovable, and you will actively develop your own over time.
Required skills and experience?
- You have hands-on experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or another analytical commercial role and are comfortable taking ownership of results.
- You think in numbers and notice when something does not add up.
- You understand products as well as data. You can look at a product, its market, and its customers and form a commercial opinion.
- You are structured, detail-oriented, and able to turn analysis into a clear next step.
- AI is already part of how you work. You use tools such as Claude or ChatGPT and are interested in understanding how APIs, automation, and connected systems can improve your work.
- You take ownership, challenge assumptions, and solve problems instead of waiting for instructions.
- English is our company language. German is a strong plus, as Germany is our largest market.
This is who we are. Do you find yourself here?
Our core values are listed in the About Us section of our website. If you enjoy taking ownership, finding solutions, questioning assumptions instead of simply accepting them, and collaborating to get things done, you’ll likely fit well with our team.
What's in it for you?
- Real responsibility and full access to the data behind the business from day one.
- Short decision paths and a flat structure where good ideas can be implemented quickly.
- Current Apple equipment.
- Flexible working hours and regular home office days.
- Workation options.
- Mobility budget on top of your salary.
- Learning budget, including options such as language courses.
- A large modern office at Spittelmarkt in central Berlin.
- An international team of around 30 people from more than 10 countries.
