How you keep the engine running with us
As a Design Engineer Structures & Interiors, you will become part of our Completion & Engineering Services (CES) department, where we develop aircraft modifications, completions and fleet support solutions for customers around the world.
Within our Structures & Interiors team, consisting of approximately 20 enthusiastic engineers, you will contribute to challenging engineering projects covering aircraft structures, cabin interiors and cabin safety. Reporting to the Team Lead Structures & Interiors, you will work closely with the Lead Engineer Interior throughout the complete design and certification process.
From the initial concept to final certification, you play an important role in transforming customer requirements into safe, compliant and innovative aircraft interior solutions.
As a Design Engineer Structures & Interiors, you will:
- Design and certify aircraft interior components for completion and conversion projects
- Develop technical specifications and perform feasibility studies
- Create production drawings and engineering documentation
- Coordinate and support external suppliers during the development process
- Support production and installation activities during aircraft modifications
- Prepare certification documentation and compliance reports
- Develop the associated Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and technical manuals
- Work closely with Lead Engineers and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

You are passionate about aviation and enjoy combining technical expertise with practical engineering solutions in a dynamic project environment.
Required
- Master's degree (WO) in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline, or a Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Aerospace Engineering with relevant work experience
- Passion for aviation and a hands-on approach to engineering
- Willingness to work on a variety of projects and occasionally travel to customers or suppliers
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Preferred
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and CATIA
- Experience with aircraft interior certification, cabin safety and/or fireworthiness
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, certification procedures and engineering processes
- Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered a plus
