About the role**.**
The Health & Safety Manager – EMENA is responsible for driving a safe, compliant, and continuously improving work environment across multiple countries in the region.
This role ensures the implementation of robust health and safety systems, promotes a strong safety culture, and supports operational excellence by reducing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. You will play a critical role in protecting employees and enabling sustainable business performance.
What you’ll be doing.
- Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of Health & Safety management systems across EMENA
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and certifications (ISO 14001, 45001, 9001)
- Monitor safety performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Drive a proactive safety culture by coaching leaders and teams across sites
- Align regional practices with global HSE standards and business priorities
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure follow-up on action plans
- Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Provide expert guidance on risk management to sites, leaders, and stakeholders
- Deliver reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve health & safety performance
What you’ll need to be successful.
- Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Health & Safety within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations across multiple countries
- Proven experience with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001)
- Demonstrated experience implementing and improving HSE systems
- Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and drive change in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in audit management and incident investigation
- Proficiency in standard digital tools (Excel, reporting systems)
