SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect

We're looking for an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect to join our team in Spain in a remote working mode. In this role, you will lead business and technology transformation initiatives leveraging SAP’s cloud ERP portfolio, ensuring Clean Core adoption, standard process utilization and upgrade-safe extensibility.

You will work closely with stakeholders to define target architecture, integration principles, governance models and transformation roadmaps aligned with SAP Activate methodology and industry best practices. This role focuses on delivering scalable, cloud-compliant solutions while enabling innovation through SAP BTP for extensibility and AI-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud target architecture and transformation strategy
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and drive business process standardization
• Develop Clean Core adoption strategy with emphasis on upgrade-safe extensibility
• Design integration principles and side-by-side extension architecture using SAP BTP
• Define governance frameworks for upgrades, extensibility and innovation enablement
• Support enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives and roadmap definition
• Lead SAP Activate implementation approach for Public Cloud projects
• Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure solution alignment
• Define security architecture and compliance requirements for Public Cloud deployments
• Drive adoption of SAP BTP capabilities for automation, analytics and innovation

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
• Strong expertise with SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard workshop facilitation
• Proficiency in SAP Best Practices, Clean Core strategy and central business configuration
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and solution design principles
• Knowledge of SAP BTP extension models (key user extensibility, developer extensibility, side-by-side innovation)
• Familiarity with released APIs, event-driven architectures and integration patterns
• Experience supporting RISE with SAP programs and business process transformation initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present at executive level

Nice to have

• Exposure to tools such as SAP Signavio, LeanIX and SAP Cloud ALM
• Experience with SAP BTP services including Integration Suite, SAP Build and Joule for AI enablement
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics and automation solutions
• Certifications in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP or enterprise architecture standards
