(Senior) Load Calculation Engineer (m/w/d)

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Load Calcultation Engineer (m/f/d). Within the Load Calculation Sites team, you will perform the following tasks:

YOUR TASKS:

• Perform aeroelastic simulations (load calculations) for site-specific suitability assessment (at any lifecycle stage, incl service).
• Maintain, update, model and validate aeroelastic models from legacy platforms according to latest state-of-the-art
• Analyzing site condition impacts on loads, components and controller behavior.
• Evaluating component sensitivity to site-driven variations
• Support definition, calibration, and verification of control strategies.
• Contribute to methodology and toolchain improvements.
• Generate technical reports and documentation.
• Support certification, design updates, and claims investigations.

YOUR PROFILE:

• M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or similar.
• Complementary training in Bladed, Alaska, HAWC2, Flex5, Python, MATLAB. Applied AI methodologies (ML, NN...)
• +8 years in loads, control, aeroelastic simulation, site suitability or data analytics
• Professional level of English. Spanish/German are nice to have.
• Availability to travel
