We're looking for an Enterprise Architect, Platform Owner LeanIX for Amer Sports' office in Garching (Munich).
Amer Sports is a global collective of iconic sports and outdoor brands, powered by a community of people who share a passion for authenticity, impact, and excellence. We bring together leading brands, talented teams, and a culture built on collaboration. If you’re looking for an environment where you can make an impact and grow your career, we invite you to explore the opportunity below.
Good technology decisions start with clear, reliable data. In this role, you will own and evolve LeanIX — Amer Sports' core EA platform — turning architectural complexity into business-readable insight that helps our leaders and architects move faster and decide smarter. You'll also bring AI into the equation, using it creatively to automate data stewardship, surface portfolio insights, and continuously raise the quality of our architecture repository across a diverse, multi-brand landscape.
What you will be doing
EA Data Practice & Portfolio Transparency
- Own and evolve LeanIX as Amer Sports' single trusted source of truth — maintaining a reliable view of the application landscape, capabilities, and dependencies across all brands.
- Translate architectural complexity into business-readable insight — surfacing technology risk, redundancy, and opportunity through structured EA data and visual portfolio views.
- Own the integrity of Amer Sports' capability and application model — defining and governing data models, modelling standards, naming conventions, and lifecycle views that underpin every architecture decision.
- Drive continuous improvement of EA data quality, ensuring the portfolio view remains a reliable foundation for transformation planning, vendor decisions, and integration strategy.
AI-Augmented Architecture
- Leverage AI to accelerate EA insight generation and data stewardship — applying AI-assisted analysis, anomaly detection, and natural language querying to surface portfolio insights faster, automate data quality monitoring, and reduce manual overhead.
Community Building & Enablement
- Build and sustain a cross-functional EA data community — across enterprise, domain, and solution architects, IT, and business stakeholders, turning LeanIX from a tool into a shared language.
- Drive LeanIX adoption across brands and regions — onboarding user groups and establishing governance cadence.
- Act as a coach and enabler to contributors and consumers of EA data — raising architectural literacy across the organization and lowering the barrier to meaningful EA participation.
- Build trust-based working relationships across brand and functional stakeholders — driving engagement and data quality across the organization through willing, broad participation.
You will report to Head of Tech Strategy & Enterprise Architecture
What you need to succeed

Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and capability modeling (TOGAF, BiZBoK).
- Hands-on experience with EA management platforms, ideally SAP LeanIX.
- Deep knowledge of application portfolio management, lifecycle governance, and EA data modeling — including business capabilities, applications, IT components, data objects, interfaces, and dependencies.
- Broad understanding of how major business domains — including ERP, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Retail, and eCom — interact and depend on the EA data model.
- Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis, pattern recognition, and insight generation — and the curiosity to apply them creatively in an EA context.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or equivalent.

- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
How You Work
- You are self-driven with high attention to detail — you take ownership of data quality and don't wait to be asked.
- You can translate complex architectural landscapes into clear, business-readable narratives and communicate confidently across technical and non-technical audiences.
- You influence without authority, build trust across diverse teams, and are motivated to create real impact at group level.
