JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented techno-functional data professional to support Finance data analysis, reporting, and compliance activities while also leading SAP S/4HANA data migration activities for Master Data and Financial Transactional Data. This role combines finance data product ownership, data transformation, BI/reporting, SAP data migration execution, and data quality governance. The candidate will coordinate with Finance business teams, functional and technical teams, and implementation/AMS partners to gather requirements, define migration and transformation rules, ensure data integrity, and deliver accurate, compliant, and auditable financial data outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyse and interpret financial data, including accounting, cost management, P&L, Balance Sheet, Financial Position, FX valuation and IFRS13 related data.
Act as Finance data product owner, gathering business requirements and preparing detailed data transformation and BI transformation specifications.
Build, maintain and automate finance data transformations, reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Maintain and support finance master data governance models, ensuring data quality, accuracy and compliance.
Lead and execute end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration cycles for Master Data, including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, GL Accounts, Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers and Asset Master.
Lead and execute Financial Transactional Data migration activities, including GL balances, open AR/AP items, asset data and other finance cutover datasets.
Use SAP MDG migration and consolidation capabilities for cleansing, validation, harmonization and governance of master data before cutover.
Collaborate with business, functional and technical stakeholders to define migration strategy, transformation rules, reconciliation approach and data quality KPIs.
Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation and audit checks to ensure accuracy, completeness and traceability of migrated and transformed data.
Support mock migration runs, cutover planning, post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
Experience in financial data analysis, finance reporting, accounting data analysis or international financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit and SAP MDG Consolidation / migration frameworks.
Good understanding of Master Data objects, including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Cost Center, Profit Center, Chart of Accounts and Asset Master.
Good understanding of Financial Transactional Data migration, including GL balances, open AR/AP and fixed assets.
Strong knowledge of data quality, data cleansing, validation, reconciliation and audit control methodologies.
Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders, translating finance and migration requirements into executable data solutions.
Proven ability to support S/4HANA implementations, conversions, rollouts or AMS transition activities.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
Fluent in English and Chinese (mandatory).
