In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. • Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling, serving, and preparation processes
• Assist in setting up dining areas, clearing tables, and maintaining a tidy environment throughout service hours

Kwalificaties

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a welcoming personality
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in food handling, food safety procedures, and restaurant operations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing processes
• Familiarity with hospitality standards such as OpenTable or Food industry best practices is a plus
• Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
