Campaign worker, Copenhagen. 15 to 37 hours a week

This is street level work for causes that need funding to keep running.

Fremtidens Fundraising recruits regular members for some of the largest aid organisations in Denmark. Those memberships are what pays for the work they do. We are the people who go out and find them.

What the job involves

You work in public spaces, shopping centres and at events, face to face. You start conversations with people who were not expecting one, explain what an organisation is fighting for, and ask them to back it with a monthly membership. Most say no. A few say yes. Those few are why the job exists.

What we are looking for

You like talking to strangers. You show up when you said you would. A no does not stop you starting the next conversation.

No experience or education required. Attitude counts for more here.

“The best thing about fundraising is the combination of people and personal development. You learn to communicate in a completely different way, and you can feel your own progress week by week. At the same time it is a strong community where people help each other get better.” Matias, fundraiser
